What color paint for house?

Now is time to make the decision of what color to paint the exterior of the house. Me and my hubby have been discussing this for awhile now but in all reality I do not think that it is possible to pick a color that is worse than what is there right now. Right now there is a light shade of green with puke green highlights and I can't stand it.
I think that we are going to go with a light brown and dark highlights. Either way I will have to get my husband on a roll as the color that is there right now is making the neighborhood look very bad. The painting of the exterior will be part 2 of the home improvement projects that we are going to accomplish in the year 2010.
